    Died:
His Will was proved 26 Apr 1890. It "notes that his father and mother are buried at the Church of St George in Scio. Power to grant Probate to Theodore (1824-1890), brother of the deceased...was reserved. This is consistent with [his] being in Egypt and near the end of his own life. The Will is remarkable in my eyes in that it recommends the children to marry Greeks of the Orthodox faith, exhorts and directs them to help and assist our mother country our dearest Greece, and not to forget that relatives perished unjustly at the hands of the Turks and that I myself was sold as a slave. It is said that the Sultan relented after the Massacre which had been ordered by his Admiral." (Andrew Serjeant)
