27 Feb 1897: George Stephen Ziffo, 38 Brandenburg Road, Chiswick, purchased 200 shares at $1 each of the Norseman Gold Mines Limited, a West Australian gold field. Notation on the back of certificate reads "no good, gold ran out". (priced at $550 on the internet [2010]).
