Misrepresentation of cotton quality by Frangopulo, Agelasto & Co., 1875
The Liverpool Cotton Brokers' Association found that Frangopulo, Agelasto & Co., through a deliberate error by one of its workmen, had misrepresented the origin of cotton it sold. The management of the company was exonerated but held responsible for its employee's acts.
