  Notes	Occupation: The 1889-90 Istanbul city directory lists him as 'judge, Tribunal of 1st Instance, Cairo.' Origin: Corfu. Residence: 1916, The Lodge, 19, Southfields Rd., Eastbourne. He was among those targetted for assassination when he was a sitting judge in the native Court of Appeal, Cairo, as reported during the question period in the House of Commons, 10 Dec 1912. Likely to have had a brother, Zinon Léonvardo (Pandeli) Dilberoglue, b. 23 Feb 1861, Malta, d. 13 Nov 1936, Neuilly-Sur-Seine, France (John Papadachi). Church marriage registry gives his father's name as Plato. John Papadachi notes that there is "much information one can find out about the movements of members of 'high society' from Le Figaro on Gallica. The Dilberoglue who was a Judge in the Native Courts in Egypt seems to have had quite a nice life with numerous visits to the grander spas of Europe in between his duties in Cairo. The odd thing is that I am not sure he was even a Paris resident - his principal house was I think in Eastbourne."
