As to the residue of his real and personal estate, he gives four twenty-fourths each to his sons Peter and Michel, and his daughters Marigo and arriette; six twenty-fourths to his son Emanuel; and two twenty-fourths to his granddaughter Chariclea." (The Times [London] 29 Jan 1887; The Leeds Mercury 31 Jan 1887 ran the same story but lessened by £500 the bequest to son Michel).

- The 1851 England Census reports for 25 Finsbury Circus, London: Stephen Schilizzi, 20, unmarried, an agent/merchant, born Marseille, France, nephew [no uncle is listed, but Ambrose Ralli, 24; Nicoli Mavrogordato (possibly Nicolas [Matheos] Mavrogordato, 21; and John Mavrogordato, 36; were next door)].
- The 1871 England Census reports that the Schilizzi household at Park Point, Salford (nr Manchester), Lancashire, was headed by Peter, 83, India merchant and included wife Marigo, 65, both born Chios; son Stephen, 40, Indian merchant, born France; granddaughters A. [Argyri], 13; Marigo, 10; and Henrietta, 2; grandson Manoli, 5, all born Manchester; and eight domestic servants. They lived next to the Coco Scaramanga family.
- The 1881 England Census reports that the Schilizzi household at "Park Mount", 224 Bury New Road, Broughton, Manchester included: Peter Schilizzi, 25; Michael Schilizzi, 24, both noted as sons (no head of household), unmarried, East India merchants, born Liverpool; Harrietta, 13, scholar, born Manchester; and five servants.
- He was a signatory witness to the Marseille 25 Apr 1870 marriage of Antonio Vouro & Marie Ralli.
- Etienne Schilizzi was among the six Greeks born in Marseille between 1821-1830 who declared their intention to become French citizens the year following their reaching majority age. The others included Pandia Agelasto Leonidas Argenti, Demetrius Petrocochino, Pierre Rodocanachi, Aristide Dromacaiti, Etienne Ralli, Meandre Zizinia, Eustratius Petrocochino, and Laurent Dromocaiti (Echinard).
