Paul Negroponte, not working, male, parent, appears on the 1860 Syros census. 27 Nov 1834: Paul Negroponte, 51, born Chios, married, arrived Syros 1824, banker, swore allegiance to the Greek government at the Orthodox Church of Christ's Transfiguration (Metamorphosis), Ermoupolis. The 1860 Census for Ermoupolis, Syros, reports a household consisting of Paul Negroponte, married, parent, not working; his wife Flourou Negroponte P., 60; their children Constantine, male, 31, merchant, single; and Plato, male, 28, merchant, single.
