- The London Gazette, 21 Feb 1967, reports a probate for Antonios Louka Benachi [misspelled Banachi in an earlier edition], 10 Fatimitos St., Alexandria, 7 Jan 1964. This is the address of record for his wife's death the previous year. Not to confuse with Anthony Emmanuel Benachi of Alexandria, known as Antoine who married Marie Michel Sinadino 10 Dec 1903, Paris, died in 1954, Athens, had also worked as a cotton merchant for Choremi-Benachi, educated at Rossall School and for whom there is a tribute in the Times [London], 12 Jun 1954, by A. A. Pallis, p. 8.
