- A Nicolas Frangopoulos, married to an Angeliki, is recorded on a monument at the Petrocochino church Aghios GIoannis in the Kampos, Chios, and is said to have been a 'magistrate' or judge in England. (Christopher Long)
- A Nicolas Frangopoulos (no proof that this is he) was appointed as a member of the Chios 'ephory' during the Samian invasion and occupation of the island by Logothetis during the Massacres of Chios. (Christopher Long)
- His daughter's marriage record shows him as 'of Syros'. (Christopher Long)
- Nicholas Frangopoulos, 63, b. Chios, married, having arrived Syros 1828, merchant, swore allegiance to the Greek state on 20 Aug 1843 at the town hall, Ermoupolis, Syros. [2]
