- Occupation: merchant. Using various sources Calapodis mentions sundry of his business relationships, including Ralli, Schilizzi and Argenti; Ralli Bros in London and Odessa; Tomazis Ralli & Co., Constantinople; Ralli & Agelasto in Persia and India. [3]
- The 1871 England Census reports that the Schilizzi household at Park Point, Salford (nr Manchester), Lancashire, was headed by Peter, 83, India merchant and included wife Marigo, 65, both born Chios; son Stephen, 40, Indian merchant, born France; granddaughters A. [Argyri], 13; Marigo, 10; and Henrietta, 2; grandson Manoli, 5, all born Manchester; and eight domestic servants. They lived next to the Coco Scaramanga family.
- He arrived in Marseille in 1816, and supported his family members who arrived after the 1822 massacre (Echinard).
- Pierre Schilizzi in 1825 was involved with the establishment of an orthodox church in Marseille. [4]
- Ralli Schilizzi & Argenti integrated Auguste Ralli…and his two sons-in-law Andre Nicholas Argenti and Pierre Emmanuel Schilizzi. [5]
- In 1822 Petros Emmanouil Skylitzis was a private donor among the seven contributors to the founding the orthodox religion in Marseille. In 1823 Petros Emmanouil Skylitzis was elected a curator of the Greek Orthodox church on the rue de la grande-Armée, Marseille. [6]
