- In 1905 the King of England granted Ambrose Anthony Ralli, Esq., Vice President of the Alexandria Municipality, authority to accept/wear the Imperial Ottoman Order of the Osmanieh, Second Class, which had been conferred upon him by the Khedive of Egypt, authorized by the Sultan of Turkey, in recognition of valuable services rendered (London Gazette 17 March 1905).
