Agelasto" Trustees of an Indenture of Settlement [a prenuptial agreement] between her and her husband, signed 2 Oct 1984, were Themistocles Pandia Anthony (Pandia) Petrocochino (her father), John Ambrose Negroponte (her brother-in-law) and Manuel Anastasius Copchili. In 1919 she successfully petitioned the court to let the Public Trustee assume sole trusteeship. She dissolved her late husband’s company, A Agelasto & Co., in 1916. 1911 City Directory lists "Agelasto, John Emanuel, householder" at 2 Colenso Grove, Heaton Moor, Lancs. He died in 1905. The 1916-1917 city directory lists a "Mrs. Agelasto" at 41 Honeybourne, Kilburn NW, Hampstead, London; the 1919 city directory lists a "Mrs. Agelasto" at 9 Wellswood Pk, Torquay Devon. She attended a ball given in the Manchester Assembly Rooms by Mrs. and Mrs. John Ambrose Negroponte to honor the coming out of their daughter Maria in 1900. She was "richly gowned in black brocade and lace with touches of tourquoise on the bodice" ("Mrs. Negroponte's Ball," Manchester Times, 12 Jan 1900). At one social event Mrs. Agelasto "was in brown cloth" ("Mrs. Alfred Charlton's Garden Party" Manchester Times, 19 Jul 1895). Mrs. Negroponte and Mrs. Agelasto were among the 400 guests at one social event ("Fashions-Society. "Belle to Phyllis, Mrs. Ansdell and Miss Agnew's Ball" (Manchester Times, 3 Feb 1899). She and her husband attended the 1 Jan 1891 wedding of her brother John T. Petrocochino. 1871 England census for 4 North Park Road, Bradford, Yorkshire: Themistokles Petrocokino, 44, head, merchant; his wife Merope, 31, both b. Greece; daughters Franga, 12, Esmeralda, 11; Aspasia, 10; Julia, 8; and sons Pandia, 7; Ambrose, 5; John T., 4, all born Bradford; and 6 servants. 1881 England Census found for Sedgley Park, Prestwich, Lancashire: T. P. Petrocokino, head, 56, general merchant; wife M., 41, both b. Greece; unmarried daughters Franga, 22; Aspasia, 20; Julia, 18, all b. Bradford, Yorkshire; John A. Negroponte, son-in-law, 34, East Indian Merchant, b. Constantinople; his wife E. Negroponte, 21, b. Bradford; and 12 servants. The 1891 England census: 265 New Bury Road, Broughton, Salford household headed by John E Agelasto, 40, East India merchant, b. Constantinople, Greek subject; wife Aspasia, 29, b. Bradford, Yorkshire; son Emmanuel J., 3; daughter Alexandra, 10 mos, both b. Manchester; & 4 servants. Aspasia Agelasto [92 Mount Street W1] appears on the 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931 electoral register City of Westminster parliamentary division, Westminster county/borough electoral lists, Great Britain. 1911 England census for Imperial Hotel, Torquay, includes Aspasia Agelasto, 48, b.   		Sedgley House, Sedgley Park, Queens Drive, Prestwich, England Themistocles and Marigo Petrocokino lived in Sedgley House with their children from 1875 to 1900, acquiring it from its previous owner William Pearson. In 1903, the house was bought by the Faithful Companions of Jesus, a teaching order of nuns. In 1979 it was acquired by the Greater Manchester Council for the police training college and is currently used as a conference and training center (see brochure). It is a Grade II listed building.

Today, a Grade II listed building in the Eldon Place Conservation Area: "Circa 1840-50 detached 3-storey town house with 3 bay front of thinly coursed sand-stone ashlar. Rusticated quoins. Moulded sill courses. Hipped stone slate roof, with deep modillion bracket eaves...(architctural description continues in the Manningham Conservation Areas Proposal, pp 275-298).

London 27 Mar 1882), was a Victorian genre painter who worked in both England and France. The son of Thomas Barker of Bath, landscape and genre painter, T.J. Barker was a leading exponent of 'Battle' painting in Britain. Barker the elder painted "The Massacre of the Inhabitants of Scio by the Turks" (1825), a fresco painted on the walls of the picture gallery in his home, Doric House in Bath.
