- A letter dated 1 Jan 1902 tells St Sophia's church that Lucas and Mr Eumorfopoulos (George?) have rejoined the firm which will now increase its financial support of the church. He left estate of £104,657 13s 1d.
- A two-storey museum was added to the back of the house in Chelsea to house his vast collection of Chinese art, nearly all which is now at the British Museum. Founder of the Oriental Ceramic Society (first president from 1921 to his death).
- "One of the kindest and most generous of men" with a very simple life-style, travelling to work on the underground and whose only indulgence was a "vast plate of iced cream at Sunday lunch". See bust by Dora Gordine (exhib. 1838) now in the V&A, London.
- Along with George Michel Mavrogordato, Leon Pandely Argenti, and Pandia Peter Rodocanachi he was an executor of the estate of Jenny Mavrogordato (London Gazette 12 May 1931).
- George Eumorfopoulos was partners with Stratty John Scaramanga, Peter John Scaramanga, Andrew John Scaramanga, and Eustratio Eumorfopoulos [likely his brother Eustratius (Aristides) Eumorfopoulos], as Grain Merchants, at 21 Bishopsgate Street, London; at Marseille and at Rostoff (Don), Russia, as Scaramanga, Eumorfopoulos and Co., until it was dissolved 31 Dec 1901 (London Gazette 28 Jan 1902).
