  Notes	An Alexander Anthony Vlasto, of 25 Finsbury Circus, London, partner of Lucas Eustratios Ralli, was co-executor of the estate of the latter's brother, John Eustratios Ralli. Alexander Anthony Vlasto of 25 Finsbury Circus, London, along with Stephen Augustus Ralli at the same address, was co-executor of the estates of Stephen Peter Schilizzi, Vierou Agelasto, and Mrs. Despina Agelasto. He was in partnership with Stephen Augustus Ralli and Lucas (Eustratius) Ralli, who retired 31 Dec 1892, as Merchants, 25 Finsbury Circus, London as Ralli Brothers and as Ralli, Schilizzi and Argenti, Marseilles, France. He was partners with Lucas Eustratios Ralli (who retired, effective 31 Dec 1892) and Stephen Augustus Ralli,carrying on business as Merchants, at 25 Finsbury Circus, London, and elsewhere, as Ralli Brothers, and at Marseilles as Ralli, Schilizzi, and Argenti (London Gazette 3 Jan 1893). Alexander A. Vlasto was listed as a member of the Baltic Exchange, 1886 (Harlaftis, A History of Greek-owned Shipping, p. 58). Residence, England: 1863, Lockerby Road, Liverpool; at DOD Chios House, Poynders Road, Clapham Park, Surrey. Alexander Anthony Vlasto was co-excecutor of the estate of Eustratios Ralli, his father-in-law and father of his business partner Lucas Eustratios Ralli (Daily News [London], 5 Dec 1884). Alexander Vlasto is listed among a delegation which met with Lord Derby of the Foreign Office to discuss the British role in and the threat to Greek merchants' interests due to strife between Greece and Turkey (The Times [London], 6 Feb 1878). A.A. Vlasto worked for Ralli Brothers when in 1884 he was nominated by the London Jute Trade Association to be among the 17 arbitrators for jute disputes (Daily News [London] 20 Nov 1884). Alex. A. Vlasto attended the Sep 1897 Liverpool funeral of his brother Ambrose Anthony Vlasto (Liverpool Mercury, 28 Sep 1897). He was executor of his estate. Alexander A. Vlasto, 27, b. Chios, unmarried, merchant, swore allegiance to the Greek state on 29 Nov 1860 at the town hall, Ermoupolis, Syros. [4] A. Vlastos is listed as a warden for the Greek Church of Manchester, 1878-1879.
