Notes |
- Residence: 1839, Office: 26 Finsbury Circus, City of London, England
- He was the first Rodocanachi to establish a business in London, before 1839, called Rodocanachi & Sons Co. Catsiyannis says he was in Trieste at the time of the Chios Massacres with his brother Antonio. (Christopher Long)
- His wife and children appear to have lived in Trieste while he was in London and traveling elsewhere. A Giovanni M. Rodocanachi of Franghiadi & Rodocanachi had business premises at 9 Finsbury Circus 1846-49 and 60 Moorgate 1850-53.
- Was he connected with the firm of G. M. Rodocanachi at 28 Deansgate, Manchester in 1845?(Christopher Long)
- He appears to have been an active and frequently mentioned member of the London Greek community from 1839-48 (though often absent from meetings). He left his business to his nephews Leoni (Zannis) and Paul (Zannis) Rodocanachi, brothers.
- Franghiadi & Rodocanachi, London (Giovanni M. Rodocanachi, merchant) (1852 city directory)
