Rodocanachi, head, 26, self-employed surgeon; his sister Hypatia, 28, sculptor working at home, both born Paddington, London, and a cook. The Rate Books, 1900, confirm this address. 1911 England census for 55 Grosvenor Square, Stalybridge, Lancashire, household headed by Ambrose John Rodocanachi, 36, b. Paddington, London, single; surgeon; 2 servants. 1921 Census Of England & Wales includes: Ambrose John Rodocanachi, b. 1874, London; Florence Lilian Rodocanachi, b. 1891, Oldham, Lancashire; for a household in Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire. The 1939 England and Wales Register for the address Aingarth, Stalybridge, Cheshire, lists John Rodocanachi [Ambrose Rodocanachi], b. 10 Apr 1874, Widow, Dr of Medicine & Surgeon; Alexandra Rodocanachi, b. 6 Oct 1865, Incapacitated; Marie Rodocanachi, b. 31 Jul 1882, Household Duties Unpaid, both Single.
