- The data in this line come from his marriage certificate. His descendants appear on the website Familles Parentes et Alliées, administered by Francoise Bernard Bries. This man is not listed in the 1860 Syros census with his parents. His The marriage certificate says he is eldest son, but that position -- according to the census -- belongs to Eustratios, b. 1846. This confirms to Greek naming tradition (after the paternal grandfather). Note that both putative parents were reported to have died before his marriage so they were not then alive to provide information to the registrar.
