- He or a sibling may have been the subject of summons issued to John Papadachi under the Vaccination Acts: "John Papadachi, merchant, Singleton Road, Higher Broughton, had received a summons charging him with neglecting to procure the vaccination of his child, but had since forwarded a proper certificate showing he had conformed to the law. the case was dismissed on payment of the costs."
