Prince Demetrius Rodocanachi in The Giustiniani in Chios, p. 53, describes the arrangement between Genoese admiral Simone Vignoso and the Chiot notables, among which was George Agelastos. It is the famous 'St Nicholas Treaty' (12 September 1346), also described in Argenti´s Libro d´oro (Introduction, p. 4). Interesting is a slight difference between the two descriptions:
--Argenti writes: "the peace treaty was signed by representatives of the Chiot nobility, Agelasto, Argenti, Coressi and Zyvòs (Ziffo)".
--Rodocanachi doesn´t mention any Argenti but only the following names: Ioannis Zyvòs, Constantine Zyvòs ['Zyvòs' is mentioned here as 'Kyvòs', presumably a typo], Michael Coressi, Sebastòs Coressi and George Agelastos. (George Agelastos, 2009) | Agelasto, George (unknown) (I724)
