    Name:
    Andre de Magnin referred to himself as the Count de Magnin, as did his son, whose wife called herself the countess de Magnin. Such a title apparently did not survive the French Revolution. A search of the French national library newspaper archives finds no such personage, including in obituaries of the de Magnin family in Ardèche.

    André married Sophia (Antonio) Ralli on 14 May 1907 in Paris, Île-de-France, France, and was divorced before 1940. Sophia (daughter of Antonio (Pandia) Ralli and Hypatia (Alexandre) Avierino) was born on 11 May 1886 in 46 Croxteth Road, Liverpool, Lancashire, England UK; was christened on 18 Jun 1886 in Greek Church of St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England UK; died after 1949.
