Basil Jn. Calouta, 28, b. Ermoupolis, unmarried, commercial clerk, swore allegiance to the Greek state on 14 Apr 1903 at the town hall, Ermoupolis, Syros.
He received the Medal of French Gratitude (Médaille de la Reconnaissance française) as treasurer of the Spanish Red Cross, Athens, providing information on prisoners of war (Journal officiel de la République française. Lois et décrets,
28 Dec 1919, p 15232).
