    • George Petrocochino, a partner in the Commerical Bank of Alexandria Limited, merchant, was living at 3 Rue Theatre Français, Marseilles, France, nine years after this man's reported death (London Gazette 28 Feb 1887). Argenti lists no other George/Zorzis Petrocochino for Marseille.
    • He was a witness at the wedding of his niece Chariclea Petrocochino and reports his age as 60, putting his birth year as 1789.
    • Georges Petrocochino, 67, merchant, rue Senec 22, was a signatory witness at the marriage of Michel Parembli and Aspasia Dromacaiti, 4 Jun 1857.
    • George Petrocochino was among the twenty-one founding members of the Greek church, Marseille, in 1836, a group which also included Paraschewa Sechiari, Emmanuel Rodocanachi, Andre Argenti, George D. Zizinia, Michel Dromocaiti, Michel Petrocochino [probably Michel Dimitrios Petrocochino, rather than Michel Andre Petrocochino], George M. Zizinia, Michel Agelasto, Jean Baltazzi, and George Grimanelli (Echinard). [2]
