- Funded the Athens Maternity Hospital, named after her very close friend of Maria/Marika Iliadi/Eliadis (née Omiro) who was born in Smyrna and died on 26 Dec 1924 and is buried at West Norwood Cemetery with husband Michael.
- Published her memoirs in 1955 'A l'Ombre de Venizelos'. Her estate became the Schilizzi Foundation which gives grants to Greeks studying in England. She gave her house at 51 Upper Brook Street, Mayfair, London, to Greece as the Ambassador's residence.
- 1881 England census: 93 Westbourne Terrace, London, household headed by John S. Schilizzi, 40, retired merchant; wife Virginia, 31, both b. Constantinople; son Stephen J., 8; daughter Helen, 9, both b. London; George Sechiari, brother-in-law, 19, foreign grain merchant, b. Constantinople; & 4 servants.
