    • Syros citizenship records include: Hypatios John Fachiri, 22, b. Ermoupolis, unmarried, occupation???, who swore allegiance to the Greek state on 4 Jan 1901, presumably at the town hall, Ermoupolis, Syros. This puts his birth year around 1879 (before Jean Fachiri & Despina Agelasto married, according to Argenti). Given the unusual name, the manner Greeks construct descendant's names, and a certain imprecision among Argenti's dates, it is very likely this man is their son. [3]
