    He was in partnership as merchants, at Marseilles, under the firm of Petrocochino, Agelasto & Co.; at Constantinople, under the firm of E. M. Vuro and Co.; at Galatz [sic], under the firm of D. C. Climi and Co.; at Ibraila and Bucharest, under the firm of Parembli and Climi; and at London, under the firm of Petrocochino and Co., until it was dissolved 31 Dec 1861. The other partners included George Petrocochino, Michael Vuro, M. P. Agelasto, M. Parembli, J. M. Agelasto, A. D. Syngros and A. N. Damiano (London Gazette 28 Mar 1862).

    Petrocochino-Agelasto, Marseille, is listed among the diaspora Greeks donating 250 fr. to a fund for the Thebes earthquake in 1853.

    Worked with A. Mavrogordato and J. T. Ralli for the Bank of Turkey in Constantinople (est. 1858). Founding president of the Bank of Constantinople established 10 Apr 1872. In 1894 it was incorporated into La Société Ottomane de Change et de Valeurs.

    He was also a partner in the Austro-Turkish Bank along with Stephanos A. Ralli and George (Ioannis) Zarifi. A general director of the Société Générale de l?Empire Ottoman founded in 1864.

    Chosen, with Herocles Vassiadis, to convey the congratulations of the Greek Community of Constantinople to Queen Amalia of Greece on her safe deliverance from an assassination attempt in 1860.

    In 1861 Antonios Vlasto and Herocles Vassiadis were among the founders of the Greek Philological Syllogos of Constantinople, the most important Greek educational society in the Ottoman Empire until its dissolution by the Turkish Nationalists in 1923.

    Anthony married Penelope (George) Petrocochino on 08 Nov 1855 in Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur,France. Penelope (daughter of George (Eustratius) Petrocochino and Despina (Ioannis) Parembli) was born on 7 May 1836 in Constantinople/Istanbul, Turkey; died on 4 May 1897 in Paris, Île-de-France, France; was buried on 8 May 1897 in cimetière de Passy, 2 Rue du Commandant Schloesing, Paris16ème, Île-de-France, France.     Another source says married 8 November 1855 'et par contrat du 7, devant Roux, notaire à Marseille' (Christopher Long).
